HYDERABAD: There was high drama at the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (Ciefl) on Thursday when the 100-member Participants Association intensified their agitation.
They sought the faculty's support for their cause, vexed by the inaction of the administration in meeting their demands.
The faculty members heard the students' woes and approached the Ciefl registrar G Venkateswara Rao. The registrar agreed that one of their nine demands was indeed legitimate and under his power to fulfil and thereby promised to improve the facilities at the hostels.
