RIO Ferdinand has admitted that he wants an end to his drugs test agony.

The Manchester United defender faces another anxious wait to discover what charge he faces for failing to attend a dope test, with the FA verdict now expected tomorrow.

And Ferdinand has admitted privately that the FA's postponement of a verdict in his case, initially expected last week, is adding to the anguish.

He wants a swift conclusion to the affair so he can face his inevitable punishment, and then get on with his career.

Ryan Giggs has revealed how Ferdinand's team-mates are helping him through his ordeal - by taking the mickey.
