Zagreb, 21 October: The UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague will not indict retired Croatian Army Gen Luka Dzanko, his lawyer Nenad Boban said on Tuesday [21 October].

"The prosecutor who questioned Gen Dzanko in Zagreb in July called me by telephone (on Monday) and said the office of the prosecutor would not issue an indictment against my client," Boban told HINA.

Boban said he received no official written notification nor did he expect any. No-one was available for comment at the prosecutor's office in The Hague on Tuesday.
