MELBOURNE, Oct 21 Asia Pulse - A new search engine launched today called Mooter Search said it offers a smarter and more humanised approach to finding information on the net.

Mooter's chief executive and majority shareholder Lisel Capper started the company off after the 2001 tech wreck with the help of Federal government grants and private investors.

"We have weathered the worst...the market is more comfortable doing commercial things such as banking and booking travel on the internet now," Ms Capper said.
