UGANDA Railways Corporations (URC) will revive the defunct Jinja Pier, reports Robert Kanusu.

The Managing Director of URC, Bugeni Buwolya, said this was one of the strategies to boost business in the area.

This was revealed in a letter to Jinja Mayor David Wakudumira on October 13.

"Jinja Pier is very important and its revival would be a step forward for the town," Buwolya said.
