Section: General News - The committee of the Global Fund for Aids, Malaria and Tuberculosis today praised Thailand for its measures to solve the AIDS crisis, noting the strong network of AIDS-related organizations and the willingness of AIDS sufferers to disclose their condition and join the campaign against the disease.

The comments came after Public Health Minister Sudarat Keyuraphan and her US counterpart Tommy G. Thompson, who chairs the Global Fund, opened a the Fund's 6th fieldwork seminar on people at risk of countracting AIDS, held in Chiang Mai's Mae Rim district.
