The leader of the People's National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Mahama, on Wednesday warned President John A. Kufuor and his government to take their hands off the Electoral Commission (EC).

"President Kufuor has been instrumental in trying to broker peace in the Ivory Coast and needs to remember that the problem that started the Ivorian conflict after so many years of stability was disputed elections' results," Dr. Mahama told The Chronicle in an interview yesterday.
