Diamond Aircraft has selected Garmin International's G1000 integrated avionics system for the 2004 DA40 Diamond Star aircraft. The DA40 features a dual-display G1000 system, a 10-inch primary flight display (PFD) and 10-inch multi-function display (MFD).
The G1000 replaces most of the analog gauges and separate radio modules on the DA40's panel with two large-format, XGA-resolution color displays. The integrated avionics system is mounted in the rear of the aircraft and is linked to the displays via high-speed ...
