Cape Town, South Africa (PANA) - The South African Minister of Labour has urged African leaders to streamline labour market policies in order to prevent employers from exploiting workers on the continent.

Minister Membathisi Mdladlana challenged delegates attending the African Regional Labour Administrative Council (Arlac) High Level Forum meeting in Durban to ensure that majority of the continent's people feel the benefits of globalisation.

Membership of Arlac is drawn form English-speaking African countries and bona fide members are those countries that have ratified the Arlac agreement.
