Lusaka, Zambia (PANA) - Zambia recorded doing more trade with member countries of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), especially South Africa, in the first eight months of 2003, than with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) whose headquarters is located here, according to the Central Statistical Office.

Christine Chikolwa, statistics marketing manager for the Central Statistical Office, said in Lusaka on Tuesday that the gross value of trade with SADC member countries stood at 4.22 million kwacha (nearly one million US dollars) at the end of August, while that with …
