Nairobi, Kenya (PANA) - Kenyan Sports Minister Najib Balala told parliament Tuesday the government could not take drastic action against the troubled Kenya Football Federation (KFF) because of possible sanctions from world's soccer governing body, FIFA.

Answering questions from MPs, the Minister said instead of disbanding KFF, government was looking for ways to help the FA function better.

"We cannot disband the federation because of the backlash that would ensue from FIFA and other affiliates. These sanctions might include being locked out of the Tunisia competitions (2004 African Cup of Nations), …
