Attains The Software Engineering Institute's Highest Quality Level Rating
Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIOX), a leading provider of globalization and testing services, today announced that its 750 employee, Mumbai, India-based solution center has attained the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 5 rating. This is the highest possible CMM rating from the SEI, a research and development center chartered to improve software engineering practices.
Fewer than 120 companies in the world have earned a CMM Level 5 rating*, which was awarded to Lionbridge India last week. The CMM ratings are awarded after exhaustive independent evaluation involving analysis and review of software development capabilities, processes and products. The ratings help buyers determine reliable and low-risk suppliers of software products and services.
