THE FATE of the national men's football team will be decided when the Southeast Asian Games technical commission tries to complete the Philippine delegation to the Vietnam SEA Games in a meeting today.
Also to be discussed is the lineup of men's basketball, athletics and women's boat race.
The SEA Games technical commission had earlier imposed three conditions for the inclusion of football in the national contingent, foremost of which is its promise to bring in seven Fil-European players to beef up the squad.
The seven imports must also be 20 years old or younger who will continue to play for the country in the 2005 Manila SEA Games.
However, the Philippine Football Federation could only come up with three reinforcements. They are Fil-Briton Michael Dela Rosa Napolitano and brothers Sache Ian Steve and Andy Gerbert Valentin Olana Proclinov of Germany.
