CEBU CITY-An official of Bayan Muna in Cebu has accused members of the Regional Intelligence and Investigation Division (RIID) of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas of abducting their regional coordinator Friday evening.
But Arman Perez, Cebu coordinator of Bayan Muna, did not identify yet the alleged victim since "he is still in a state of shock.''
"We are still convincing the victim's family to let him come out in the open and reveal his ordeal,'' he said.
Perez claimed that at least two members of the RIID suddenly disembarked from a dark green and heavily tinted Mitsubishi L-300 van at around 7 p.m. on Friday along Osmena Boulevard, near the Development Bank of the Philippines building, and forced the victim to get into the van.
Perez said the victim was about to go home for Mandaue City after their meeting with members of Bayan Muna-Inayawan chapter.
