THIS is the story of a sports association, run mainly by two men, a Batman-Robin tandem that has taken over the affairs of amateur basketball in the Philippines.

It is a story of how these two had teamed up allegedly for the best of basketball, still the most popular game in the country.

The duo had failed several times in their previous sorties but, as fate would have it, they have refused to give up the ship.

Today, however, it's being asked whether the men running the basketball association still find it honorable to stay in their position.

Actually, there is this suggestion that this is the time to write an apt epitaph for the current national amateur basketball leadership.
