UN Forms Task Force to Fight HIV/AIDS in Women, Girls.

THE United Nations (UN) has formed a Task Force to fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS In Women and Girls.
In a statement released by UNAIDS country co-ordinator yesterday Dr. Namposya Nampanya-Serpell yesterday, the thematic areas of the Task Force would be prevention of HIV/AIDS infection, education and violence against women.
Dr. Nampanya-Serpell said the Task Force would also address issues relating to girlsi property and inheritance rights of women and girls.
