Gill a First Choice as United chief exec.

Former First Choice Holidays and Manchester United FD David Gill has been named as United's chief executive. Gill takes charge following Peter Kenyon's surprise move to Chelsea.
MyTravel Group FD Kazia Kantor has quit her post after just 10 months.
Chief executive Peter McHugh said Kantor played a "vital part" in putting in place the refinancing of the company, and he is grateful for her seeing MyTravel through a difficult period. Turnaround specialist John Darlington steps in as interim CFO until a successor is found.
Ex-MyTravel group finance director Nick Wright is the new FD of the Welcome Break Group, following the departure of Ian Harris. Prior to MyTravel, Wright spent 17 years at Whitbread in a variety of senior financial roles.
Tesco group FD Andrew Higginson has added corporate strategy to his responsibilities, following a board reshuffle at the retailing giant. Higginson served as group FD of Laura Ashley and then as finance director of the Burton Group, prior to joining Tesco in 1997. He is a member of the Hundred Group of Finance Directors.
Royal & SunAlliance finance director Julian Hance has quit the financial services company, as the company attempts to raise GBP940m through a rights issue.
