MORNING View speculates on the possible value of David Trimbles visit to Tel Aviv for Shimon Peres 80th birthday celebration. There are quite a few lessons that could be taken away from this event.
For example, Mr Trimble could reflect on the fact that in the 10 years following Peres embrace of the Oslo peace process in 1993, 1,126 Israelis have lost their lives to Palestinian terrorism. That contrasts with 214 people murdered in the 15 years before Oslo.
