"I live on rubbish," says the petite Amisha Patel. Before you're taken aback, she adds with a laugh, "I can live on junk food. I am a thorough foodie. I follow a strict diet plan - I eat at all possible times!"

In Hyderabad for the launch of the Times Food Guide, Amisha admits she's a connoisseur of good food. "I love eating out in Hyderabad and am looking forward to reading the book," she says. The fact that she almost lives to eat is tough to believe.

She claims to differ from other actors who sweat it out hours together at the gym to make up for the excess calories.

"I hardly workout, because I am continuously working," she laughs. "Maybe because I tend to be hyper, it kind of makes up for my binging habits."

There's no disputing that Amisha loves food. At her father's restaurant in Mumbai, she willingly slips into the role of a critic. "Food is a passionate hobby for dad. As a reviewer, I'd give the restaurant a 10 on 10." Will she step into the stars-turnedrestaurateurs trend? "Not at present.
