Reinsurance trading platform ri3k has announced that a group of eight major reinsurance companies will be using its technology for the treaty renewals that start on 31 December.
The companies include Ace Overseas General, Aviva, Talanx/HDI, Royal & SunAlliance, Brit, and Hiscox. Hannover Re, Partner Re and reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter have also been involved in the deal.
ri3k's platform permits the electronic delivery of the data required by brokers and insurance groups, allowing the better analysis of reinsurance assets as they look to the market for reinsurance protections.
