Late-day rebound pushes Nam Fatt shares to higher close.

AFTER two-day feverish run-ups, oil and gas stocks paused to catch a breather on September 17 before resuming its uptrend momentum yesterday.

Its market leaders, Crest Petroleum Bhd and Scomi Group Bhd, resumed their prior uptrend moves.

Following the market leaders' firmed rebounds yesterday, other oil and gas-related stocks also rebounded.

Wah Seong Corp Bhd and Sumatec Resources Bhd gained 29 and 26 sen to close at RM2 and RM2.89 respectively.

Nam Fatt Corp Bhd, a restructured company with exposure in the oil and gas sector, rallied 16 sen, or 20 per cent, to close at 96 sen with 5.597 million …
