T he Mid-Autumn Fes tival is a special oc- casion for Vietnamese people, especially children, when they can brush aside work-a-day worries to get together to enjoy the delicious cakes and watch lanterns processions under the full moon. Festive activities can be seen anywhere, but perhaps a locality of more colors on this special occasion is Phan Thiet Town in Binh Thuan Province, a coastal locality some 200km from HCMC.
