Johannesburg, South Africa (PANA) - Security experts from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries plan to convene in Pretoria Thursday to discuss the threat terrorism in Southern Africa since the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.

The two-day seminar, which will assess the present and future threats posed by terrorism in SADC countries, expects to advance recommendations on legislative and policy changes that are required to combat terrorism more effectively in the region.
