Thailand-Based Company Specializes in Manufacturing and

Engineering Services for Optical, Mechanical, and Electronic

Components and Subassemblies

Technology Forecasters, Inc. (TFI) announced today that Fabrinet has become a corporate sponsor of its "Quarterly Forum for Electronics Manufacturing Outsourcing and Supply Chain" program. Fabrinet is an engineering and manufacturing services company specializing in the engineering and manufacturing of complex optical, mechanical, and electronic components, subassemblies, and modules for communications, consumer electronics, instrumentation, automotive, medical device, and industrial applications. TFI's "Quarterly Forum" is a membership organization that discusses strategies for the electronics manufacturing industry in quarterly meetings and objective reports on the Internet. With more than 65 member companies from the electronics manufacturing community, including OEMs, EMS companies, their suppliers, as well as the financial services community, the Forum has become the premier medium for the exchange of ideas and assessment of factors affecting the electronics manufacturing industry.

"We are excited that Fabrinet is a sponsor of our `Quarterly Forum'," said Pamela Gordon, president of Technology Forecasters. "Based in Thailand, Fabrinet offers low-cost manufacturing ability with sophisticated manufacture of complex components and modules, reliability testing, quality control, tracking methods, and customer responsiveness. After visiting Fabrinet, TFI Senior Outsourcing Consultant Bob Wyckoff was so impressed with the operation that he said, `It feels like I'm at an OEM instead of an EMS company', and rated it Best in Class."
