Europe's Champions League kicks off today with 42 Africans involved in the competition.

African champions Cameroon have six players, Ghana six, South Africa five and Nigeria five.

Ghanaians include Juventus midfielder Stephen Appiah and Samuel Osei Kuffour of Bayern Munich.

Watch out for the name of rising Nigerian star at Inter Milan, Obafemi Martins, while the Arsenal contingent of Lauren (Cameroon), Kolo Toure (Ivory Coast) …
