EMEPMI RENEWS CONTRACT WITH PETRA.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- Petra Perdana Bhd's (PETRA) wholly owned subsidiary Petra Resources Sdn Bhd has accepted ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc's (EMEPMI's) offer for extension of the Retrofits and Host Tie-in contract for two years.

The contract starting from Sept 8 is subject to finalization of certain terms and conditions. The contract extension is in principle in line with the terms of the original three-year primary contract term.
