That's the question stall-owners and the handful of visiting public are asking at National Book Trust's 46th National Book Fair, on at the grounds opposite Birla Planetarium. On Saturday, even after the inauguration by Union HRD minister Mr Murli Manohar Joshi, vacant stalls with empty shelves continued to stare from every corner of the fair. The reason: mismanagement prevented trucks full of books from entering the fairground due to security concerns for Mr Joshi. This, coupled with factors like the rain, saw only about 15 per cent of the 242 stalls being set up on Saturday. The …
