Abstract
The purpose of this "Adopt a School" project is to provide organized service activities that identify and provide health and safety programs and services to the top two poverty-stricken elementary schools within the local school district. This project provides opportunities for university students across campus to participate in experiential learning opportunities that impact learning and application of subject content, recognize the complexity of social problems and enhance civic responsibility.
