SALALAH, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - As many as 122,529 visitors arrived in Dhofar Governorate during the period June 21 to August 11 this year, up by 31,148 visitors as against the 91,381 booked during the period from 21 June to 21 August last year.

Akram bin Hassan al Mirzaa, Commerce and Industry director-general in Dhofar Governorate, said the increase in the number of visitors is considered a strong indicator of the attractiveness of the Governorate during the Khareef festival 2003. He added that final figures will be completed on 21 September.
