KAOHSIUNG, Southern Taiwan, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - Kaohsiung Mayor Frank Hsieh will fly to Japan at the head of a trade and tourism promotion mission today for a six-day visit.
Speaking at a press conference held on Sunday afternoon, Hsieh said that his upcoming trip is aimed at selling the port city in southern Taiwan to Japanese businessmen and tourists.
During their stay in Japan, Hsieh said that he and the mission will call on Japanese business and labor groups, organize trade talks and tourism fairs and visit tourist spots and trade facilities.
