CHENNAI, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - Beta Group, the Rs 20,000 million (US$436 million) multi-national company engaged in food processing, is planning to put up two units in Nepal and Dubai in a year or two to take care of the markets in their neighbourhood, a top executive of the Beta group, said here on Friday.
While US$42 million would be invested in the Dubai plant, $2 million would be the investment in the Nepal plant, J Rajmohan Pillai, chairman of the Kerala-based group, said here on Friday. While Nepal unit would take care of the Bhutan, Bangladesh and north-eastern states of India, the Dubai plant would take care of the markets around Dubai.
