SEOUL, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - Asia Pulse - Malaysia has chosen Kia Motors' minivan Carnival as its national car in the multi-purpose vehicle sector and begun its mass production, a company official said Friday.
On Thursday, a ceremony to mark the debut of Carnival was held in Kuala Lumpur, with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad and some 3,000 other people in attendance.
The minivan will be sold as the "Naza Ria" in the Southeast Asian nation, the official said.
