GENEVA, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - South Koreans worked more hours than any other people on the globe in 2001, the International Labor Organization said.
According to the organization's biennial report titled "Key Indicators of the Labor Market," Korea's workers logged an estimated 2,447 work hours for the full year, topping the category of annual working hours per country.
The report found workers in the Netherlands and Norway had the lowest number of hours, or 1,400 per year.
"Generally, economies in the developed grouping have the lowest annual hours of work, while developing economies in Asia have the highest," the report said.
