POMPEI'S PREDICTIONS
1. Packers 12-4 * The Packers won 12 games least season despite the fact starters missed a combined 63 starts. With any luck, they should be able to win at least 12 again.
2. Bears 8-8 The Bears are better than they showed last year, when injuries and homo games in Champaign were problems. But if Stewart is their leading rusher, they're in trouble.
3, Vikings 7-9 The offense should be explosive, especially if they can find a way to replace Bennett. But the Vikings still figure to give up more big plays than they make.
4. Lions 5-11 There is some good young talent and Mariucci will give the organization a lift. But ...
