Kupang, E Nusa Tenggara, Sept 1 (ANTARA) - Hot ash rained and blanketted six villages in Wulang Gitang subdistrict, East Flores district in East Nusa Tenggara province, as twin Lewotobi mountains erupted as of Sunday evening through Monday noon.

Public relations officer of East Flores district administration, Rin Riberu, told ANTARA by phone that the six villages suffering from the hot ash were Boru, Boru Kedang, Nawa Kote, Nuri, Nuba Konga and Hokeng.
