Africa-Israel Investments (TASE:AFIL) finished the second quarter of 2003 with a NIS 58.6 million net profit, compared with NIS 35.7 million profit in the second quarter of 2002.
The company's profit from land and construction business amounted to NIS 33.4 million, up 33%, compared with the corresponding quarter in 2002. Profit from leasing and maintaining properties totaled NIS 33.3 million, 34% more than in the second quarter of last year.
