BY this time, it is a cliche. Today we blame everything on "too much politics." We know it has become a cliche. We even hear it from the politicians themselves.
If the problem is "too much politics," the solution seems to be more politics. I am not surprised. The solution was thought up by a politician.
The idea came from Senate President Franklin Drilon. To solve the problem of "too much politics," he wants all politicians to talk about politics.
The leaders of the land are going to hold a political summit. Down here in our barangay, "summit" is just another way of saying "meeting with free lunch."
So there you are, they are going to solve our biggest problem by doing more of the same. They will try to sum it all up in the summit.
