INTERIOR and Local Government Secretary Jose Lina Jr. yesterday urged barangay officials to organize their respective anti-drug abuse councils in a bid to further intensify the government's campaign against illegal drugs.
Lina, in a press statement, credited the existing Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (Badacs) for their help in the discovery of existing drug laboratories in several areas.
These include shabu laboratories found in the cities of Lipa, Las Pinas and Paranaque, and in Naic, Cavite, which were subsequently raided by members of the Philippine ...
