WHAT started out as a liking for a particular cuisine, ended up as a venture that has stood 20 years for a couple.

Hen Lin, the Chinese dimsum and noodle shop you see in malls has very humble beginnings.

Despite the name and the type of food it serves, Hen Lin is a 100 percent Filipino-owned venture started by Jun and Araceli Manas. Together they set up M & H Food Corp., which owns Hen Lin.
