If information technology (IT) is the wave of the future, many female students are failing to catch it or bailing out before getting a good ride. The Rochester Institute of Technology NY just got a $325,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to find out how to help them.
Dr. Elizabeth Lane Lawless and associates will use the two-year grant to study gender attrition in information technology.
