The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry announced that the foreign minister, Solomon Passy, is to visit Iraq next week.

In a statement the ministry said that the Bulgarian foreign minister would arrive in Baghdad next Monday [25 August] and will hold talks with the official in charge of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq, Paul Bremer.
