A group of diplomats have visited Balkh Province recently. The delegation included the British ambassador to Kabul, representatives of US embassy in Kabul, a number of Indian diplomats, the British ISAF forces commander and the commander of British Provincial Reconstruction Team, PRT. Evaluation of security situation in Balkh Province and disarmament in Sholgara District constituted the agenda of the meetings the delegation held with authorities in Balkh Province.
