Joseph J. Costanzo
Joseph J. Costanzo, 87, Winter Haven and formerly of Bradenton, died Aug. 18, 2003.
He was born March 19, 1916, in Philadelphia and came to Manatee County in 1976 from Springfield. Pa. He was a salesman. He was a member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus and Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. He was active in parish ministries, the hospital and nursing home ministry and in senior activities at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; a daughter, Kathleen Riley of Winter Haven; and a son, Victor J. of Quakertown, Pa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Covell Cremation and Funeral Center of Bradenton. The Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church in Bradenton. Memorial services will be later in Winter Haven. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden at the church.

Palmira B. Dente
Palmira B. Dente, 90, Bradenton, died Aug. 11, 2003.
She was born Dec. 5, 1912, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and came to Bradenton in 1987 from Burlingham, Calif. She retired as a self-employed hair stylist and had shops in Connecticut and California. She was a member and volunteer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a volunteer at the Manatee Community Blood Center.
Survivors include a friend, Pam Insani of Bradenton; and her nieces and nephews.
