Section: Investment - Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said the to-be-established Vayupak Fund might have to help shoulder the debt burden of the Financial Institution Development Fund (FIDF) since it could solve the problem the FIDF poses the finance ministry.

Thaksin added that several plans for FIDF's investment scheme have been mapped out but if the Vayupak Fund is to help clear off debt burden of FIDF, the government must discuss more on the details since it is an important issue.

Finance minister Suchart Jaovisidha admitted that there is a high possibility that Vayupak Fund would help solve debt problem of FIDF. The …
