A man prays before a demonstration in central London to protest a police raid in east London.

During the raid on June 2, several hundred armed police officers descended on the suburb of Forest Gate following a tip about two Bangladeshi brothers accused of manufacturing a chemical bomb. One of the brothers, Mohammed Abdul Kahar, was shot in the chest and shoulder, and both were arrested and held in police custody for two weeks. They were released when no evidence could be found.
