The National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare last week honored congressional and media leaders for their efforts to advance the availability and quality of treatments for mental illnesses and addictions disorders.
Senators Trent Lott (R-Miss.) and Jack Reed (D-R.I.) and Representatives Steve Buyer (R-Ind.), Nancy Johnson (R-Conn.), Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.), and Grace Napolitano (D-Calif.) were the award recipients.
