Click on the web page for California's Co-Occurring Joint Action Council (COJAC), and you will see two directors profiled: Kathy P. Jett, director of the state's Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP), and Stephen W. Mayberg, director of the state's Department of Mental Health (DMH). Separate links take you into the ADP and the DMH home pages respectively.

The web page (www.cojac.ca.gov) design symbolizes the state's commitment to collaboration between the two agencies, while preserving each as a separate entity. And for substance abuse treatment in the state, it's reassuring to know that the single state authority still has the face of Kathy Jett.
