Kolkata, Aug. 17 - RPG Netcom Ltd, a multi systems operator (MSO) having a 70 per cent share of the cable TV market in Kolkata, on Sunday announced details of plans to implement the conditional access systems (CAS) in the first notified zone of Kolkata South-West from September 2003.

Beginning Monday, cable operators would approach customers with registration forms for set top boxes and rate plans for various pay channels that would be aired. Both analogue and digital set top boxes would be on offer for outright purchase as well as on rental basis. The Dalvi set top box would be offered for Rs 2,650 on outright purchase basis.
