Seah Consortium, the exclusive negotiator for the sale of Kia Steel Co., is expected to decide next week whether to buy out the ailing company, which is under court receivership, financial sources said yesterday.

The potential buyer has been conducting due diligence of the steel maker, which supplies steel to automakers, over the last three weeks, and is scheduled to wrap up work within this week, according to the sources.
