The shekel declined 0.13% against the dollar today after clawing back early losses, as the government announced it would deal with the threat from the Hizbullah through diplomatic means, for now.
The Bank of Israel fixed the representative rate at NIS 4.437/$, compared with Friday's rate of NIS 4.431/$.
Harel Capital Markets trading room manager Dan Moore told "Globes" today that trading volumes in the market remained low. According to Moore, the shekel was boosted today by the fact that a support level for the currency wasn't broken.
